We are planning to re-decorate our kitchen. Nothing super drastic, the cabinets and counters are staying (they’re still good) but the look needs updating and the appliances need replacing. Since the kitchen was actually pretty clean, I decided to get a "before" photo.
I shot this with the lens way stopped down to get the most in foucs. If you don’t know this, when you shoot at really small aperatures, dusty sensors become a lot more of an issue, and mine is no exception. I cloned/healed most out, but there are still a lot of spots.

Post Office – Project 365/61

The is the main Milwaukee Post Office, as seen from the river. At least it once was the main office, I’ve been told most major operations for the area are in Oak Creek now and that this building may eventually be sold.
My guess is architectually, at one point this building was considered pretty modern, but the rust stained concrete seems to tell more of a story of its age [Read more →]
