Rain gauge in our backyard

This are some culverts at the city public works, which is also the local recycling center.  I was dropping off a bunch of branches I cut down (see April 20) and brought the camera.

Today was the Flickr Cream City Photowalk at Doctor’s Park in Fox Point. This was the first time the stars aligned and I was able to make it to the monthly event. My son and I got there a little late and had to find everyone down at the lake, but this shot was from up in the park area - all of the picnic tables stacked up for the winter. With weather like today, I’m sure the park service will be moving them out soon.

The boys were sharing some sliced apples and the youngest decided to do what little brothers do best - annoy the crap out of older brothers. Here he shoves apple into his hair.
