Derek,
You that now if you get a hotmail account, and then you can use Windows Live Hotmail for Windows Mobile (what a mouthful, eh?) to sync mail and contacts in a manner very similar to Exchange synch.
http://www.gowindowslive.com/Mobile/Landing/HMforWM/Default.aspx?Locale=en-US

I believe calendar synch may also be in there now two, since there was just a big upgrade of Windows Live Calendar a few weeks ago, but I dont' know for sure as I only synch my hotmail - contacts and calendar are coming from work.

We do a really poor job of publicising this nice windows phone client option.

Hey Derek -

I use GooSync to sync my Google calendar with my mobile phone. It also has an option to sync tasks and contacts, as well. The part of the service I use is free and allows me to sync the calendar. . . I think syncing contacts is a premium part of the service and I'm not sure how much it costs - - but I'm pretty happy with the calendar syncing, so far.

I do also sync my Outlook with Google Calendar using Google Calendar Sync.

Hope that helps! It was good to meet with you today and share some ideas... I sent you a follow up email with a few the documents we discussed.

Cheers!
