Project 365: August 7
The first harvest from our garden. My wife grabbed a random basket out of the closet because she couldn’t find the bowl she’d normally use. Once done, she says “Hey, I got you picture for today!” and so she did.
Lighting on this consists of a bare Nikon SB-24 at 1/2 power lighting the background, and a Canon 580EX at 1/2 power through a white shoot through umbrella camera right.

Project 365: August 6
Late night at work. I caught the sun setting through some conference room windows, exposed for the table and let the room go dark. Other than conversion to B&W via Lab Mode and some sharpening, this is SOOC (straight out of camera.)

And so starts another month.
This is the larger of two piles of dirt (10 cubic yards total) we had delivered to re-grade in front of the house. We moved it all using only the tools pictured.

A make up T-ball game due to weather earlier in the year. They switched to coach pitch for this one and the kids loved it.

Our second Brewers game in as many days. I love the hoisted Miller Lite in the lower part of the frame. Goes with the setting.
